How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a light dumbbell in each hand with your arms extended straight out in front of you at shoulder height, palms facing each other. This will be your starting position.
- Squat down by pushing your hips back and bending your knees, keeping your back straight and the dumbbells together in front of you at shoulder height.
- As you stand back up, open your arms out to your sides until your body forms a T shape at the top, with the dumbbells in line with your shoulders and your palms facing forward.
- Bring the dumbbells back together in front of you as you descend into the next squat, and repeat. Keep the weight light — the movement is a flow, not a press.
