How to do it
- Adjust the weight to an appropriate amount and stand with your back to a cable set at about chest height, grasping a handle in each hand beside your chest.
- Step into a split stance, one foot well ahead of the other, with your head and chest up and your elbows bent. This will be your starting position.
- Begin by extending through the elbows, pressing both handles forward until your arms are long. Keep your shoulder blades retracted as you execute the movement.
- After pausing at full extension, bring the handles back beside your chest under control, keeping tension on the cables.
