# The movement picker

> Build a day like a playlist from 846 drawn movements, found by gear, muscle, family or your own spelling.

**+ Add a movement** under a day opens the picker. It holds every movement we have drawn: 846 today.

The library is on one side. The day you are building is beside it.

## Add like a playlist

Every row has a **+**. Tap it and the movement goes to the end of the day. The picker stays open, and the row shows a tick.

Each one goes in at 3 × 10. Change the numbers in the studio.

A day takes up to 24 movements. When it is full, the picker says so.

## The day beside the library

- **Drag** the handle to move a movement up or down.
- **↑ ↓** do the same, one place at a time, and work from the keyboard.
- **×** removes it.

On a phone the day is a drawer at the bottom of the screen.

## The plan's days

The top of the picker lists the plan's days, each with its count. Tap a day to build that one.

**+ Day** adds a day, up to 7.

## Search

Type a name, or how you write it: **RDL**, **DB bench**. The picker reads common shorthand and tells you what it read it as.

## Narrow it

Three columns, each narrowing the next:

- **Gear** — Bodyweight, Dumbbell, Barbell, Kettlebell, Cable, Machine, Bands and the rest.
- **Muscle** — by main muscle. Tick **include secondary** to find a movement under the muscles it also works.
- **Family** — movements grouped by pattern. **Stretch** sits at the top and holds every stretch. Pick a muscle to split them.

Each entry shows how many movements it holds. **All** clears the column.

On a phone the columns are panels side by side. The bar above them, **Gear · Muscle · Family**, brings a panel to the middle.

## The list

Columns: Name, Gear, Muscle, Family, Load (takes a weight or not), Cams (which angles are drawn), Programs (how many house plans use it).

- Click a heading to sort. Click again to reverse.
- Drag a heading's edge to resize it.
- **Columns** shows or hides them. Your browser remembers the choice.

## One movement, up close

Select a row to see its drawing. Switch angles if it has more than one. Then:

- **Add** — the same as the row's +.
- **Page** — its public movement page, in a new tab.
- **Clip** and **Meme** — see [Your clip and meme](https://physicalfeed.com/docs/clips-and-memes.md).

## An alternative

**+ alternative** on a movement in the studio opens the picker for one other movement. Choosing it closes the picker.

## Not drawn yet

A plan can only use a movement we have drawn. In the **Library** tab, **Not drawn yet** lists the dataset movements without a drawing. Choose one and press **Request**. The most-asked get drawn first.

From the Library's movement list, **Use in the studio** opens the picker with that movement found.
